Join us at our regular meeting on Presidents' Day! Same time and place but with a very special agenda: Pinewood Derby Workshop! VROOM!
Please bring your Cubs car kit, or partially completed car and the items you have on hand to move the endeavor ahead to its next phase. Dana has acquired a scroll saw for our use and Leadership will help you cut cars as needed.
Don't have a car kit? No worries, I have a few extra's and they are free thanks to our Sponsor, D.T. Collins Associates. (Eric's Father was heavily involved in Scouting for years.) If you are in the painting phase please brings paint clothes to wear over uniforms and newspaper or drop cloths (sheets) so we can keep the CUMC Fellowship Hall tidy.
If possible, please bring items to share such as the following; medium grain sandpaper, small hammers, weights, coins, graphite and anything else you can think of to help our Cubs with this endeavor.
