What a great obstacle course this evening that WEBELO Braeden and his Dad set up! All the boys loved it. We had Grady and his Dad join us as a new-to-us Wolf Scout. Welcome!
We will meet on May 22 but not on May 29 as that is Memorial Day. Is there some way you can do an activity from your Cubs book on this holiday?
Don't forget that the Pack will be coming out to Grindstone Fishing Day on Saturday, June 3. The plan is for the Cubs to do a trash patrol between 11:30 and Noon as a service project. We are working on the Troop boys being able to provide a canoe ride to the Cubs after the trash patrol. The Troop boys will be providing rides to the public during the Fishing Day activities.
Then if you and your Cub are able to join the Troop boys at Ruidoso Public Library on Monday, June 5, anywhere from 10am till 2pm we will be hosting a game and teaching how to tie a couple of knots during the library's Summer Reading Program kick-off. You don't need to stay the whole time but we would love to have your Cub in uniform for an hour if you can make it. This is one of our recruitment activities...maybe your son can ask a friend to come join him!
