Paying It Forward: March Pack Meeting Plans

Scout Families,

Our March Theme is "compassion" and we will be making crafts (requirements in each Den) to exhibit our compassion for wildlife and those in need within our community.

We have three meetings in March, each will be conducted by Eric, Assistant Cub Master, and supported by our Two Den Leaders, Sam and Autumn. I will be working in the evenings until Easter and am grateful for the Teams help during this time.

Our March 2nd meeting will cover "wildlife demands during a drought". We will be building bird feeders and discussing the challenges birds face on our mountain during the spring.

Our March 16th meeting will cover "acts of kindness" where we will discuss the need to be aware of others feelings and craft several pins for people in need of kindness in our community: seniors who may be without family, a widowed neighbor, an ill acquaintance. Your Cub needs to make up a list of a least five people in need of kindness and bring it with them to the meeting. You and your Cub will deliver these pins and report back to the Pack at our next meeting on March 30th regarding why they chose a particular individual and the response from the individual.

If you need anything from ME, please email me. I will be ordering belt loops on Tuesday so if your Cub requires one contact me via email before they are gone forever...

In Gratitude,
Cub Master Collins
