Dear Scout Families,
We cannot believe it is October, but alas, the month has arrived and we have plans you need to make sure are on your calendars!
1. Toss No Mas, Keep Ruidoso Beautiful, Sunday, October 11th, Two Rivers Park, Lions Pavilion, 1:00-3:00 p.m. REQUIRED ATTENDANCE.
- Trash bags, gloves, snacks & drinks provided by the Village.
- Make sure your Cub is in Uniform and wearing sunscreen!
- Youth groups of 10 or more can earn $10 per youth for participating.
- Our Pack generates required Service Hours for BSA
2. Regular Cub Scout Meeting (despite School Closures) on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12th, same time and place. Our agenda is Physical Fitness. The Webelo's will have one activity for the entire Pack, but Den Leaders need to study requirements for their Den and plan to conduct physical fitness activities with their Cubs and log their results into their books. We will be conducting Rank Advancements and Awards as well.
3. Graves Farm Pumpkin Patch Go See It, Saturday, October 24th, 9:00 to 12:00. We will meet at Graves Farm in Roswell, expect directions as the date draws near. The Pack will pay for family Hay Rides and the Cubs use of the Corn Maize. Families will need to purchase their own pumpkins. Siblings are allowed but Families will need to purchase additional Corn Maize access for each Sibling. Please bring a blanket and snack lunch.
4. Holiday Wreath Sales have begun and we only have until 6 November so we need to beat the streets! Call if you need supplies or have questions. Checks all need to be made payable to CUB PACK #59.
In Gratitude,
Anessa Collins
